Unit F takes 3 thoughts from the immediate present: the architecture of retrofit, the problem with ‘trash’ materials, and the future of the night time economy. Over the last 2 years, we’ve been shocked to find that the greatest risk to our health has been through contact with each other. Stuck at home, our entertainment industry decimated by unprecedented mass closure, Unit F asks: how to build an event and make friends using trash; how to design a fast food venue for creatures of the night, and; why we should be designing spaces for indulgence, pleasure, and consumption during a climate emergency. Morgen ist die frage.
